Quarantined?

Well, these are certainly some strange times we're living in. 2020 is going down in the history books for all the wrong reasons.

While we can't have anyone in the studio during the Covid-19 pandemic due to restrictions including social distancing and which businesses are essential, you can absolutely take this time to prepare for when the restrictions are lifted! Start practicing, song writing, pick up a new instrument, or put the polish on some old tunes from the vault, and be ready to record them as soon as we're allowed to come within 6 feet of each other!

In the meantime, if you're looking for help with songwriting or production, you can always e-mail or share tracks with me. Feel free to reach out if you're feeling some quarantine writer's block.

Everybody stay healthy and stay safe!

Don't take music for granted...

I'll spare you the long and drawn out series of fortunate (not a typo) events that led me to having this little idea, but the main point is...

Don't take music, or specifically your love of music or your musical talent, for granted.

Some people can get with me on this one: you get a job, have kids, and your time seems to disappear. Your focus shifts to advancing at work or spending every moment you have with your kids, or just general adulting, and before you know it you can't remember the last time you picked up that guitar, or the piano in the basement has a thick layer of dust on it. Music becomes a fond memory of something you used to do when you had the time.

People: it's time to make time.

Everyone has their own degree of busy that they deal with, but i beg of you; don't let that busy stomp out your love of music. If it already has, it's time to dust off that piano or go grab a new pair of drum sticks and let yourself remember how much fun you used to have.

If you want to really get back into it, or want to take advantage of the time you have, come see us. Covers, original music, pro or amateur level, doesn't matter to us. We're here to support your love of music. Get some tracks put down, and the more you listen to it, the more you'll love it. Call up the boys you used to play with in high school, throw a few practices together, and come on down. Something tells me you'll be really happy you did.
